I'm Back

Long time no see. I figure I'll try to write something on here occassionally since a few people do in fact read it. Forgive my 4 month absence, hehe.

Well, I'm at school now. Classes are hitting their stride. Some of them look like they'll be rather difficult... but they always are, so I'm not too concerned. This year I'm taking Spanish 121! Hehe, which will be easy as crap.

For those of you who don't know... my new roommate is Dylan. AJ moved out (2 streets away), and so now I have Dylan. He is definitely a good guy. He likes the room cold... he has class during the day after mine are over (so each of us has alone room time)... and he is super gay, hehe. I don't know what it is, but gay people are just a whole lot of fun to talk to. I don't even have to pretend I'm cool since he's definitely more girly than I am. Fun, eh?

Well, I must go do my laundry (since I am one day away from going commando). I might even run! Crazy!

So, I have an A in Logic, and I should have one in Accounting... although she hasn't posted our grades yet. Depending on how my Ethics teacher likes my last paper, I might get an A there. CIS (computer information systems) is basically doomed to be a B. That class was hard as crap, and I look forward to filling out the teacher's evaluation. Marketing is so close that I have no idea what will happen. It will probably wind up being a B because he grades his tests really difficult (and this one is over 10 chapters - and he doesn't like to teach the stuff in the book. 60 multiple choice questions are from the chapters, and 5 essays are from his lectures). I pretty much need a 97% on that test to pull of an A. I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I saved every cent that I made while working last summer, and so my plan was to also save what I get back in taxes as a part of that... well, I've decided against that, hehe. I decided to treat myself and spend that money on fun things because I am in need of some pampering

The Flying Pig is in 16 days! I really hope that I'll be ready for it. I'm not exactly sure the best things to do right before it, though. I think I might make the prior week a normal week until the last two days before it. Two days before I might run an easy run, and then the day before I might run like 3 miles. I'll think about it.

I am completely done with two classes. Accounting and Logic are no more!

I have to write a paper this weekend for Ethics, and then that class will be done.

Therefore, I only have 2 exams during exams week that I have to worry about. Marketing is on Friday and CIS is on the following Tuesday (May 2nd), so I guess I have a lot of time to sit around.

Last night I didn't sleep at all, so I think I'm going to take a nap (I had two final exams and a quiz today).

Annie bought me Chicken Little before either of us had even seen it    Let me tell ya... I like it way too much. I'm not sure what about it is good to me. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for cartoons (I always have been). Cartoons are just so much happier than any other comedies ever can be.

But yeah, Chicken Little has a whole lot of really great people in it. Here is a list of the great stars (I apologize if I leave out any of your favorites):

Don Knots (The Andy Griffith Show), Patrick Stewart (X-Men, Star Trek), Adam West (Family Guy, Batman), Zach Braff (Garden State), Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride), Steve Zahn (Saving Silverman), Joan Cusack (School of Rock), Harry Shearer (The Simpsons), and Patrick  Warburton (Family Guy, The Emperor's New Groove).

Awesome, eh?

Ha! Last night's run was amazing! I ran at 11:00 because I had to wait for Annie to get home from work (I left my watch in her room).

It wasn't raining for the first 3 miles... but the last 3 miles were crazy! I was worried about my iPod mini and my shoes at first, but after I was completely soaked I was just loving it all. I kept the iPod relatively dry (I stopped listening to it, of course). Hehe, my shoes were another story.

I hung up all of my clothes in the bathroom last night... but, obviously, they weren't dry at all this morning, so I just spent my morning drying my shoes. Annie was kind enough to lend me her hair dryer    With the hair dryer, it took a little less than 2 hours, hehe. After I was done, my ears were kind of ringing.

Well, I have a lot of homework to do, and I need to run about 12 miles today (I probably won't run them all at once).
